Welcome to the National Agricultural Academy (NAA) learning platform. By accessing or using our platform and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the platform. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use.
The National Agricultural Academy (NAA) is a digital learning platform established in partnership with the Bank of Agriculture. It provides practical, accessible training in farming, agribusiness, finance and digital tools for agribusiness SMEs, farmers and cooperatives, extension officers and civil servants, and youth and graduates, helping them build productive and sustainable businesses.
By creating an account, enrolling in a course or bundle, booking a tutoring session, or otherwise using the platform, you confirm that you accept these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them. These terms apply to all visitors, registered learners, tutors, instructors, and partner organisations using the platform.
Access to the platform is provided to registered learners, tutors, instructors, partner organisations, and other individuals authorised by NAA. Some courses may carry entry requirements or may be offered only to learners nominated by a partner organisation. You must provide accurate, current information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal and must not be shared. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
The platform is provided for learning, skills development, and tutoring purposes. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict use by, others. You may not misuse the platform, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or interfere with its security or functionality.
Once enrolled, you are granted a personal, non-transferable right to access course and bundle materials for your own learning. Access may be subject to completion timelines, prerequisites, or other conditions specified for each course. Some courses are offered in languages other than English, as stated on the course page. NAA may update, revise, or retire content at any time to keep it accurate and relevant.
The platform connects learners with tutors through the Tutor Finder for one-on-one tutoring, coursework guidance, and assignment assistance. Paid sessions are subject to the fees, cancellation terms, and scheduling rules published at the time of booking. Tutors must maintain accurate profiles, hold the qualifications and experience they claim, and deliver sessions in good faith and to a professional standard. NAA facilitates the connection between learners and tutors but is not a party to, and does not guarantee the outcome of, any individual engagement. Assignment assistance is provided to develop your own understanding; submitting work you did not produce is an academic integrity breach under Section 13.
The Resource Library is made available to authorised users for personal study and professional development. Materials may be licensed from third parties and are provided for individual, non-commercial use only. You may not download, copy, redistribute, or share library materials outside the platform, or provide your access to any other person.
This platform delivers educational training. Course materials, library resources, forums, and tutoring sessions are general in nature and should not be relied upon as personal financial, legal, tax, insurance, investment, agronomic, veterinary, or other professional advice. Before making an important decision for your farm or business, consult a qualified professional or the relevant authority.
Information about loans, grants, insurance, or Takaful is provided to help you understand how these work. Completing a course does not guarantee approval of any loan, grant, insurance cover, or other financing, and nothing on the platform is an offer of credit or a commitment by NAA, the Bank of Agriculture, or any other institution. Completion of a course does not by itself authorise you to carry on any activity where a licence, registration, or permit is required by law; it remains your responsibility to meet the requirements that apply to you.
Where you discuss real businesses, customers, farms, or cases — in assignments, forums, or tutoring sessions — do not share names, phone numbers, addresses, financial details, images, or any detail that could identify another person without their permission. Do not post your own sensitive details, such as bank account numbers, card details, PINs, or passwords, in forums or messages. You remain bound by the confidentiality obligations of your own profession, employer, cooperative, and jurisdiction at all times.
Personal experiences and business information that fellow learners share in forums and learning groups are likewise confidential and must not be repeated or shared outside the group without their permission.
Fees, where applicable, for courses, bundles, tutoring sessions, and store products are those published on the platform at the time of enrolment or purchase. Payment must be completed before access is granted, unless a payment plan has been agreed in writing with NAA. Refund eligibility, where applicable, is governed by the refund terms published for the relevant course or product.
The NAA Reward System allows learners to earn points through eligible activities such as enrolling in and completing courses, providing feedback, and referring others. Points carry no cash value, are non-transferable, confer no financial entitlement, and may be redeemed only for the non-monetary recognition and access benefits published on the platform. Reward points have no bearing on assessment, grading, the award of any certificate, or the outcome of any application for financing. NAA may amend the reward terms from time to time.
All content on the platform, including courses, text, graphics, videos, logos, library materials, and assessments, is the property of NAA or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without prior written permission. Work you submit remains yours, but you grant NAA a licence to store, assess, and moderate it for the purposes of delivering and quality-assuring your training.
You agree not to upload or share unlawful, offensive, or misleading content, breach the confidentiality of others, impersonate others, promote unsolicited commercial offers, investment schemes, or requests for money, or engage in any activity that disrupts the learning environment. Plagiarism, contract cheating, falsifying records or assessment results, and misrepresenting your qualifications or certificates are serious breaches and may result in loss of platform access and withdrawal of certificates. Learners are expected to treat one another with courtesy and respect. NAA reserves the right to remove content or restrict accounts that breach these standards.
Certificates issued on completion confirm participation in the relevant NAA course and the satisfaction of its assessment criteria. A certificate of completion does not in itself constitute a professional licence, government certification, or external accreditation, and does not imply endorsement by any partner organisation or agency, unless expressly stated. Certificates must not be altered or misrepresented, and NAA may withdraw a certificate obtained through misconduct or misrepresentation.
The platform may include third-party content or links to external sites. We are not responsible for the accuracy, content, or practices of any third-party resources and provide them for convenience only.
The platform and its content are provided on an as-is basis. While we strive for accuracy and reliability, we do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, NAA shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform, nor for any decision taken by a user in connection with their own farm, business, finances, or investments.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform, without notice, if you breach these Terms and Conditions or engage in conduct that may harm the platform, its users, or NAA.
Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and process your personal data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act, 2023, and other applicable data protection laws.
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes take effect once posted on the platform with a revised effective date. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
